Rhea

  • Scientific name: Rhea Americana

Rheas are large, flightless birds native to South America and are closely related to other running birds such as ostriches and emus. Known for their long legs, powerful strides, and curious personalities, rheas are perfectly adapted for life on open grasslands and plains.

Although they cannot fly, rheas are excellent runners and use their strong legs to move quickly, escape predators, and explore their surroundings. They also have excellent eyesight and hearing, helping them stay alert in their natural environment.
